Cretaquarium: A Marine Wonderland

Located in Gournes, about 15 km east of Heraklion, the Cretaquarium is a must-visit attraction for anyone fascinated by marine life. This state-of-the-art aquarium shows about 2,000 organisms of about 250 species from the Mediterranean and beyond, including colorful fish, sharks, sea turtles, and even stingrays.
