Antarctica Adventure: A 5-Day Itinerary to the Bottom of the World
Day 1: Arrival and Acclimatization
- Arrive at King George Island, Antarctica’s northernmost point
- Board the expedition ship and meet your crew and fellow travelers

Day 3: South Shetland Islands and Historic Sites
- Set course for the South Shetland Islands, home to some of Antarctica’s most historic sites
- Visit the remains of an old whaling station at Half Moon Island, where you can see remnants of a bygone era
- Stop at Hannah Point, where you’ll find colonies of Gentoo penguins and other wildlife
- Take in the breathtaking views from the summit of Mount Brooker, one of the highest points on the island
- Return to the ship for dinner and spend the evening stargazing or enjoying entertainment options onboard
Day 4: Neko Harbour and Petermann Island
- Arrive at Neko Harbour, a stunning destination filled with wildlife and scenic beauty
- Take a Zodiac cruise through the harbour, spotting penguins, seals, and other Antarctic creatures
- Visit the historic site of Petermann Island, where you’ll find remains of an old scientific research station
- Spend the afternoon exploring the island’s unique geology and taking in the breathtaking views
- Return to the ship for dinner and spend the evening relaxing or attending a film screening
Day 5: Drake Passage and Departure
- Set sail through the infamous Drake Passage, known for its rough seas and unpredictable weather
- Attend a farewell lecture on your Antarctic adventure and the importance of preserving this fragile ecosystem
- Keep an eye out for seabirds and marine life as you make your way back to King George Island
- Disembark at the island and board your flight home, bringing with you unforgettable memories and a newfound appreciation for the world’s most extreme continent
