Costa Rica 3 Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Exploration of San José
- Morning: Arrive at Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) and transfer to hotel
- Afternoon: Visit the National Museum of Costa Rica to learn about the country’s history and culture
- Evening: Explore downtown San José, visit the famous Mercado Central for dinner and drinks
Day 2: Tortuguero National Park
- Morning: Drive to Tortuguero ( approx. 3 hours) and take a boat tour through the canals
- Afternoon: Explore the jungle trails, spotting monkeys, sloths and other wildlife
- Evening: Enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge’s restaurant
Day 3: Arenal Volcano and Hot Springs
- Morning: Drive to La Fortuna (approx. 2 hours) and visit the famous Arenal Volcano
- Afternoon: Soak in the natural hot springs at The Springs Resort or Tabacon Thermal Resort
- Evening: Enjoy a romantic dinner at one of the many restaurants in La Fortuna
