2-Day Itinerary for Travelling in Dominica

Day 1:

8:00 am - 9:00 am: Start the day with a delicious breakfast at a local café or restaurant, trying some traditional Dominican dishes like mountain chicken or fish broth.
9:00 am - 10:30 am: Visit the Botanical Gardens, a peaceful oasis in the heart of Roseau, featuring a variety of tropical plants and flowers.

11:00 am - 1:00 pm: Explore the Indian River, a scenic boat tour that takes you through the lush interior of Dominica. Keep an eye out for exotic birds and other wildlife.
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm: Head to Trafalgar Falls, a stunning twin waterfall located in the Morne Trois Pitons National Park. Take a short hike to reach the falls and enjoy a refreshing swim.

6:00 pm - 8:00 pm: Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, trying some fresh seafood or Creole cuisine.

7:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant, trying some of Dominica’s famous rum or Kubuli beer.
10:00 pm: Return to your accommodation for a well-deserved rest after an action-packed two days in Dominica.

Visa Requirements: Citizens of the US, Canada, and European Union countries do not require a visa to enter Dominica. However, it’s always best to check with the Dominican embassy or consulate before traveling.
