6-Day Itinerary for Traveling in Ethiopia
Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa
- Arrive at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport (ADD)

- Transfer to hotel and rest
- Visit the National Museum of Ethiopia to get an overview of the country’s history and culture

Day 3: Fly to Lalibela

- Explore the ancient town of Lalibela and its many historic sites
Day 4: Drive to Gondar
- Drive from Lalibela to Gondar (approximately 4-5 hours)
- Visit the Royal Enclosure, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to several impressive castles and palaces
- Explore the Debre Birhan Selassie Church, known for its stunning murals
Day 5: Simien Mountains National Park
- Drive from Gondar to the Simien Mountains National Park (approximately 2-3 hours)
- Take a guided hike in the park, home to several endangered species and breathtaking scenery
- Overnight at a local lodge or campsite
Day 6: Return to Addis Ababa
- Drive back to Gondar and fly from Gondar to Addis Ababa (approximately 1-hour)
- Spend the afternoon shopping for souvenirs or exploring Addis Ababa
- Depart from Addis Ababa Bole International Airport
