Jordan 7 Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Exploring Amman
Arrive at Queen Alia International Airport in the evening, where you’ll be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Amman.
After freshening up, head out to explore the city. Start with a visit to the ancient Citadel, which sits atop a hill overlooking the city. Take in the stunning views of Amman’s sprawling streets below as you wander through the ancient ruins, including the Temple of Hercules and the Byzantine Church.
Next, make your way to the lively Jabal Weeb neighborhood, known for its narrow alleys, vibrant street art, and eclectic mix of cafes and shops. Grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants serving up delicious Middle Eastern cuisine.
End the night with a visit to the Rainbow Street, famous for its upscale shopping, dining, and nightlife.
Day 2: Amman’s Rich History
Start the day by visiting the Amman Museum, which showcases the city’s rich history and cultural heritage. From there, head to the Roman Theatre, an ancient amphitheater that dates back to the 1st century AD.
Next, visit the Jordan Archaeological Museum, home to some of the country’s most important archaeological treasures, including the famous Mesopotamian artifacts.
In the evening, enjoy a traditional Jordanian dinner at a local restaurant, complete with authentic music and dance performances.
Day 3: Ancient Petra
Begin the day early and head to the ancient city of Petra, one of the world’s most famous archaeological sites. Take a guided tour of the site, exploring the intricate rock-cut architecture and learning about its rich history and significance.
Be sure to see the iconic Treasury building, as well as other notable structures like the Monastery and the Royal Tombs.
Return to Amman in the evening and enjoy a relaxing dinner at one of the city’s many restaurants.
Day 4: Wadi Rum
Start the day early and head to Wadi Rum, also known as the “Valley of the Moon.” Take a guided tour of this stunning natural wonder, exploring the unique rock formations and valleys that have been featured in countless films and TV shows.
Enjoy a hearty lunch at one of the many restaurants in the area before continuing your exploration. Be sure to see the famous Lawrence House, where T.E. Lawrence (of “Lawrence of Arabia” fame) once stayed.
Return to Amman in the evening and enjoy a night out on the town, perhaps with a visit to the lively downtown area or a rooftop bar overlooking the city.
Day 5: Dead Sea
Start the day early and head to the Dead Sea, where you’ll spend the morning relaxing at one of the many beachside resorts. Take a dip in the sea’s salty waters, which are said to have healing properties.
Enjoy a lunch of local specialties, such as fresh seafood or traditional Jordanian dishes. Be sure to take a moment to enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
In the afternoon, visit the nearby Masada National Park, which features ancient ruins and breathtaking views of the Dead Sea.
Return to Amman in the evening and enjoy a farewell dinner at one of the city’s many restaurants.
Day 6: Aqaba
Start the day early and head to the coastal town of Aqaba, where you’ll spend the morning exploring the ancient city. Visit the Aqaba Fort, which dates back to the 14th century AD, as well as the nearby Movenpick Resort Petra.
Enjoy a lunch of fresh seafood at one of the many restaurants in the area before continuing your exploration. Be sure to see the stunning views of the Red Sea from the town’s many vantage points.
Return to Amman in the evening and enjoy a night out on the town, perhaps with a visit to the lively downtown area or a rooftop bar overlooking the city.
Day 7: Departure
Spend the morning shopping for last-minute souvenirs or visiting any sites you may have missed earlier in your trip. Check out of your hotel and head to Queen Alia International Airport, where you’ll depart from Jordan and head back home.
