Day 1: Arrival and Acclimatization

After arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll take a short flight to Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. Upon arrival, you’ll check-in at your camp or lodge and spend the day acclimatizing to your surroundings.

• Morning: Start the day with an early breakfast before heading out on your first safari game drive. Keep an eye out for the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and Cape buffalo) as well as other iconic African animals like wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes.
• Afternoon: Return to camp in time for lunch before taking a break to relax or explore your surroundings. In the late afternoon, embark on another game drive to spot more wildlife and take in the breathtaking sunsets of Masai Mara.

Day 2: Exploring Masai Mara

Spend the day exploring the incredible landscapes and wildlife of Masai Mara. Start with an early morning game drive to catch the best lighting for photography and spotting animals.

• Morning: Head out on a guided game drive to spot some of the reserve’s most iconic species, including lions lazing in the sun or stalking their prey.
• Afternoon: Take a break from driving to enjoy some lunch at your camp or lodge. In the late afternoon, take a leisurely stroll around the surrounding area to get a glimpse into Maasai culture and daily life.

Day 3: Drive to Serengeti

Spend the morning exploring more of Masai Mara’s incredible wildlife before heading out on the long drive to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Stop at scenic viewpoints along the way to take in the breathtaking vistas.

• Morning: Take one last game drive through Masai Mara to spot any remaining animals or landmarks.
• Afternoon: Depart for Serengeti, stopping at the Kenya-Tanzania border and enjoying lunch en route. Arrive at your camp or lodge in the late afternoon, just in time to catch the sunset.

Day 4: Exploring Serengeti

Spend the day exploring the incredible landscapes and wildlife of Serengeti National Park. Start with an early morning game drive to spot some of Africa’s most iconic species.

• Morning: Head out on a guided game drive to spot some of Serengeti’s most impressive predators, including cheetahs, hyenas, and lions.
• Afternoon: Take a break from driving to enjoy some lunch at your camp or lodge. In the late afternoon, take a leisurely stroll around the surrounding area to get a glimpse into Maasai culture and daily life.

Day 5: Last Chance to Spot Wildlife

Spend the day spotting any remaining wildlife in Serengeti before departing for Arusha.

• Morning: Take one last game drive through Serengeti to spot any remaining animals or landmarks.
• Afternoon: Depart for Arusha, stopping at scenic viewpoints along the way to take in the breathtaking vistas. Arrive in Arusha just in time to catch your flight home.
