Norway 7-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Oslo
- Arrive at Oslo Airport, Gardermoen (OSL)
- Take the Flytoget (Airport Express Train) to Oslo Central Station ( approx. 20 minutes, NOK 190)
- Check-in to your hotel and explore the city
- Visit the Vigeland Sculpture Park and the Viking Ship Museum
- Enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants in the Grünerløkka neighborhood
Day 2: Oslo
- Start the day with a visit to the Akershus Fortress (free admission)
- Take a stroll through the trendy neighborhood of Grünerløkka and explore its boutique shops and cafes
- Visit the Munch Museum, home to Edvard Munch’s famous painting “The Scream” (NOK 120)
- Enjoy lunch at a traditional Norwegian restaurant, like Lysverket or Fiskeriet
- Spend the evening exploring the nightlife of Oslo
Day 3: Oslo to Flåm
- Take an early morning train from Oslo Central Station to Myrdal Station ( approx. 5 hours, NOK 850)
- From Myrdal, take the Flåm Railway to Flåm Station (approx. 1 hour, NOK 340)
- Check-in to your hotel and explore the picturesque village of Flåm
- Take a fjord safari or kayak tour in the afternoon (NOK 980)
Day 4: Flåm
- Take a day trip to the nearby village of Gudvangen ( approx. 30 minutes, NOK 100)
- Visit the Nærøyfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
- Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Gudvangen
- Return to Flåm and enjoy dinner at one of its cozy restaurants
Day 5: Flåm to Bergen
- Take the Flåm Railway back to Myrdal Station (approx. 1 hour, NOK 340)
- From Myrdal, take a train to Bergen Central Station ( approx. 2 hours, NOK 560)
- Check-in to your hotel and explore the city
- Visit the Bryggen Wharf, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
Day 6: Bergen
- Take a funicular ride to Mount Floyen for panoramic views of the city (NOK 80 return)
- Visit the Edvard Grieg Museum, dedicated to the famous Norwegian composer (NOK 120)
- Explore the lively fish market and enjoy lunch at one of its seafood restaurants
- Spend the evening exploring the nightlife of Bergen
Day 7: Departure from Bergen
- Spend the morning shopping for souvenirs or visiting any last-minute attractions
- Take a taxi or bus to Bergen Airport, Flesland (BGO) for your departure flight
Things to Know
