Uganda 6-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and Kampala City Tour
- Morning: Arrive at Entebbe International Airport
- Visa Requirements: Obtain a visa on arrival (USD $50) or apply online prior to travel
- Afternoon: Visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC) to see rescued animals, including chimpanzees, lions, and elephants
- Evening: Explore Kampala city, visit the Namugongo Martyrs Shrine, and enjoy local cuisine at a restaurant of your choice
Day 2: Jinja and Source of the Nile
- Morning: Drive to Jinja ( approx. 1.5 hours) and visit the Source of the Nile
- Take a boat ride to the exact spot where the Nile River flows out of Lake Victoria
- Afternoon: Explore Jinja town, visit the local market, and try some water sports on the lake
- Evening: Return to Kampala and enjoy dinner at a rooftop restaurant with city views
Day 3: Mabamba Swamp and Shoebill Trek
- Morning: Drive to Mabamba Swamp (approx. 1 hour) and take a canoe ride through the papyrus channels
- Spot the elusive Shoebill Stork, a rare bird species found only in this region
- Afternoon: Return to Kampala and visit the National Museum to learn about Uganda’s history and culture
- Evening: Enjoy traditional Ugandan music and dance at a local cultural center
Day 4: Kibale National Park and Chimpanzee Trekking
- Morning: Drive to Kibale National Park (approx. 5 hours) and trek chimpanzees in their natural habitat
- Spot other primates, including monkeys and baboons
- Afternoon: Visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a nature walk and birdwatching

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park

- Afternoon: Take a boat ride on Kazinga Channel for more wildlife viewing

Day 6: Return to Entebbe and Departure
