Uganda 6-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and Kampala City Tour

Day 2: Jinja and Source of the Nile

  • Afternoon: Explore Jinja town, visit the local market, and try some water sports on the lake
  • Evening: Return to Kampala and enjoy dinner at a rooftop restaurant with city views

Day 3: Mabamba Swamp and Shoebill Trek

  • Morning: Drive to Mabamba Swamp (approx. 1 hour) and take a canoe ride through the papyrus channels
    • Spot the elusive Shoebill Stork, a rare bird species found only in this region
  • Afternoon: Return to Kampala and visit the National Museum to learn about Uganda’s history and culture
  • Evening: Enjoy traditional Ugandan music and dance at a local cultural center

Day 4: Kibale National Park and Chimpanzee Trekking

  • Morning: Drive to Kibale National Park (approx. 5 hours) and trek chimpanzees in their natural habitat
