Vanuatu 6-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Port Vila

  • Arrive at Bauerfield International Airport in Port Vila, the capital of Vanuatu

  • Visit the Port Vila Markets to experience local culture and try some traditional food

Day 2: Island Hopping

  • Take a ferry or charter a boat to Iririki Island (approximately 10 minutes)

  • Visit the Mele Cascades, a stunning waterfall just outside of Port Vila
  • Return to Port Vila in the evening and enjoy dinner at one of the local restaurants

Day 3: Efate Island

  • Take a guided tour around Efate Island, visiting rural villages and scenic lookout points
  • Stop at the Eton Beach, a popular spot for swimming and snorkeling
  • Visit the Ekasup Cultural Village to learn about Vanuatu’s traditional customs and way of life

Day 4: Tanna Island

  • Fly to Tanna Island (approximately 1 hour)
  • Visit the Yasur Volcano, an active volcano with stunning views and lava flows
  • Explore the island’s rugged terrain and scenic coastline
  • Stay overnight at a local bungalow or guesthouse

Day 5: Tanna Island

  • Spend the day relaxing on Tanna Island’s beautiful beaches, such as White Sands Beach
  • Take a snorkeling or diving trip to explore the island’s coral reefs
  • Visit the Tanna Coffee Factory to learn about Vanuatu’s coffee production
  • Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, trying some of the island’s fresh produce

Day 6: Return to Port Vila

  • Fly back to Port Vila (approximately 1 hour)
  • Spend the morning shopping for souvenirs or exploring the town
  • Depart from Bauerfield International Airport
