Venezuela 6-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Caracas
- Arrive at Simón Bolívar International Airport (CCS) in Caracas
- Obtain a visa upon arrival (requirements: valid passport, return ticket, and proof of sufficient funds)
- Take a taxi or shuttle to your hotel in the city center
- Explore the historic center of Caracas, including Plaza Bolivar and the National Capitol building
- Try some traditional Venezuelan cuisine for dinner, such as arepas or cachapas
Day 2: Caracas
- Visit the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (National Fine Arts Museum) to learn about Venezuela’s art and culture
- Take a cable car ride to the top of Avila Mountain for panoramic views of the city
- Explore the upscale neighborhood of Altamira, known for its shopping centers and restaurants
- Enjoy a traditional Venezuelan breakfast, including coffee, arepas, and cheese
Day 3: Mérida
- Fly from Caracas to Mérida (MRD) in the morning
- Visit the Plaza Bolivar in Mérida’s historic center
- Take a scenic drive to the nearby town of Ejido, known for its stunning views and traditional cuisine
- Try some local specialties, such as trout or Andean cheese
Day 4: Canaima National Park
- Drive from Mérida to Canaima National Park ( approx. 2 hours)
- Take a boat tour on the Orinoco River to spot wildlife, including dolphins and monkeys
- Visit the famous Angel Falls, the highest uninterrupted waterfall in the world
- Overnight at an eco-lodge within the park
Day 5: Isla de Margarita
- Fly from Mérida to Porlamar (PMV) on Isla de Margarita
- Explore the beautiful beaches of Playa El Yaque and Playa Pampatar
- Visit the picturesque town of Asunción, with its colorful colonial architecture
- Enjoy fresh seafood for dinner at one of the island’s many restaurants
Day 6: Departure

- Fly from Porlamar back to Caracas (CCS) for your international departure
