Luquillo on Foot
Walking in Luquillo means picking your own route, because there is no regular guided heritage walk in town. The three routes below are short, free and each fits in a morning or an evening.
Route one: plaza to kiosks Begin at Plaza Rosendo Matienzo Cintron, next to the San Jose parish church, and head toward the beach. On PR-3 beside Balneario La Monserrate you will find Los Kioskos de Luquillo, a row of about 60 numbered stalls.

Luquillo Sights Worth the Drive

See it from the road La Coca Falls. The cascade is visible from the PR-191 shoulder in the El Yunque corridor, about 15 minutes out of town. Use the signed parking spaces only.
