Dawn and dusk are when herds descend from the ridges to water, which means this trip works best as either a very early start or a late return, not a leisurely midday outing. The least-visited of the four, a spiritual sculpture park and retreat center set among dramatic granite boulders and pine hills. It rewards travelers who want something past the standard combo, though the distance and lighter visitor traffic mean confirming a driver in advance matters more here than on the busier routes.
