When’s the best time to visit for events?
March, without much competition. The Lantern Festival wraps at the start of the month, then Pasifika and the Auckland Arts Festival overlap in the middle two weeks, so a mid-March visit puts you within reach of three separate events without needing to plan around any single one. Is Pasifika Festival worth planning a trip around?
Yes, it’s genuinely one of Auckland’s best events for a first-timer. What about summer, is anything running December through February?
