Day 1: Gothic Quarter, Ramblas, And Boqueria

Day 7: Sant Antoni Market And A Slow Wind-Down

  • Morning at the Sant Antoni Market, a genuine local alternative to La Boqueria, fewer tourists and the same quality produce and food stalls
  • Free time to repeat whichever day-one or day-two stop landed best, a second Gaudi house, another Gothic Quarter wander, or simply sitting in a plaza with a coffee
  • Depart from El Prat Airport, Aerobus runs the official EUR7.45 one-way fare (buy direct at aerobusbarcelona.es rather than a resale site quoting EUR10+) to Placa Catalunya in about 35 minutes, every 5-10 minutes through the day

Keep bags crossbody and to the front on the metro and around the Sagrada Familia queue for the entire week, pickpocketing stays the real risk, not the protest stickers you might see in Ciutat Vella.
