  • The DDR Museum for a hands-on look at daily life under East German communism, a good pairing with the Wall history from Day 3

Is a sixth day in Berlin worth it, or does the trip start repeating itself? It’s worth it if history is the draw. Day 6 goes deeper into the Nazi and Cold War periods than a single Wall-focused day allows, without repeating Bernauer Strasse or Checkpoint Charlie. Skip it and swap in a second look at whichever neighborhood you liked best instead.
