2 Days in Jeju: The First-Timer Itinerary
Two days on Jeju means Jeju City and the east coast, full stop, the volcanic tuff cone at Seongsan and the lava tube at Manjanggul are worth flying in for on their own. Be honest with yourself before you book: this route skips the south coast waterfalls, the west coast, and Hallasan entirely, see the 3-day or longer versions if any of those matter to you.

Day 1: Jeju City
- Morning: Land at Jeju International Airport (CJU), taxi into Jeju City (about 15 minutes, roughly 9,000 KRW/~$6) or the airport bus (

Is 2 days enough to see Jeju? No, not the whole island, and any itinerary claiming otherwise is padding the schedule. Two days is genuinely enough for a satisfying Jeju City-plus-east trip: one UNESCO climb, one lava tube, one real black pork dinner. The south coast waterfalls, the west coast, and Hallasan all need more time, that’s what the longer itineraries below are for.
What’s the single biggest mistake on a 2-day Jeju trip? Trying to add Hallasan or the west coast anyway. Both require real drive time from the east coast, and squeezing them in turns two relaxed days into two exhausting ones with nothing done properly. Pick Jeju City and the east, do it well, and come back for the rest.
