Day 1: Land and Get Oriented
Ljubljana Airport is 26km north with no rail link, so budget a bus (€4.10-4.50, 30-50 minutes) or a taxi (€35-50). Day 2: Lake Bled and the Vintgar Gorge

Day 3: Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle
Postojna is 55km southwest, about an hour by car. Day 4: Lake Bohinj and the Vogel Cable Car
Bohinj is about 30km past Bled inside Triglav National Park, roughly 1h15 to 1h30 by car with no fast direct public transport, so this is a car day. The Vogel cable car climbs to 1,535 meters for €28 return adult, with a discount tier for ages 14-25 and 60+. Calmer and genuinely swimmable compared with Bled, even in August. Day 5: The Skocjan Caves
Skocjan sits about 75km southwest via the A1 motorway toward Koper, exit Divaca, roughly an hour by car with free parking at the visitor center. Skocjan or Postojna, Do You Need Both?
Only if caves genuinely interest you beyond a single stop. Postojna is easier, an underground train covers most of the walking, and works fine as your one cave day. Skocjan is more dramatic and less touristed but asks for more walking and a second full day of driving, worth it for enthusiasts, skippable for anyone lukewarm on caves.

Alternate an easy day with a demanding one. Bled is a relatively gentle morning, Postojna is a full day underground, Bohinj is outdoors and relaxed, Skocjan is the most physically demanding of the four.
