6 Days in Bergen: The First-Timer Itinerary

Day 1: Bryggen, The Fish Market And The View From Floyen

  • Evening: pick up a bottle at Vinmonopolet (the state alcohol monopoly, the only place selling wine, spirits or beer over roughly 4.75% ABV, closed Sundays) and cook in, self-catering from a Rema 1000 or Kiwi supermarket is the single biggest lever against Bergen’s restaurant prices
