Day 1: Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Cistern
Start at opening. Day 2: Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar
Topkapi opens at 09:00 and closes Tuesdays, so confirm your date on muze.gov.tr before you build the day around it. The combined palace and Harem ticket, 2,750 TRY, covers Hagia Irene church too, and the Treasury room alone is worth the half day. From Topkapi it is a short walk down to the Grand Bazaar , closed Sundays, open 08:30 to 19:00 the rest of the week; if your two days land on a Sunday, the Spice Bazaar is open daily and covers the gap. Counter opening asks at roughly 40 to 50 percent if you buy anything.
